I lived at Apple park for one year, and I had a good experience here. The property is nicely kept (although that does mean early-morning landscaping/grass watering), the buildings are maintained well on the outside (although that also meant early morning painting/construction for a few months while I was there), and the clubhouse is really great. The pool and hot tub are awesome to have, although the hot tub is closed frequently for repairs.

Now to the important part: the apartment. When my boyfriend and I moved in, it was SPOTLESS. Any maintenance issues we had were resolved immediately. It's true that the appliances are a bit old, but they work fine, besides one 3-day spell where our refrigerator did not work because of the extreme heat (over 100 degrees). The noise from our neighbors was practically nonexistent - we could only hear creaking of our upstairs neighbors, never anything else.

I have heard stories from other residents about issues they had with the staff, but I never had any. The leasing agents are friendly, helpful, and very patient when I asked tons of questions about moving out. I spent about 15 hours cleaning my apartment upon move-out, and was charged $150 for carpet cleaning (there were 2 stains noted), leaving me getting back about $150. It was annoying to lose money after cleaning so much, but I'd rather pay a small deposit and clean a lot than pay a huge deposit and leave the apt dirty.

Overall, Apple Park was a great first apartment for us. The rent is a bit higher than other places, but if you take advantage of the amenities, it can be worth it. I would honestly say that my biggest complaint about the place was the speed bumps in the parking lot - they're huge!! But I really did have a good experience here.
