This place stinks!!

If you read a good review about the Bellwether, you can be guaranteed that it was written by a member of the Bellwether staff, rather than a tenant. This is honestly the worst apartment complex that I have EVER lived in, and I?ve lived in a lot of them! What?s more, every last one of my neighbors AGREES that they hate it as much as I do!!!
I wrote a review on here a while ago that was obviously deleted and I?m shocked. As a matter of fact, another tenants? comments were also deleted that were written around the same time as mine, so I guess the truth hurts too much. I wrote that I had caught the manager screaming at some tenants that if they didn?t like the way they were being treated, that they might as well move out. Well, it?s true and I heard it with my own two ears! I?m saving this review on my computer, because if they delete it again, I?m just going to keep on posting it until it sticks!
As for the rest of the office staff, they aren?t any better. They are rude, discourteous and down right hostile. When they are trying to woo you into moving here, they?re great, but after you have moved in, treating tenants badly is a way of life here at the Bellwether.
The owners of the complex are a bunch of out of state lawyers. That means that there is no one close at hand to watch how the manager treats the tenants, and no one to go to if you want to go over the heads of the management staff.
The turn-over rate here is astronomical; there are so many vacancies at any given time that it is laughable. There is no doubt in my mind that this is due to the management. No one wants to stay for any length of time. I?ve only been here for so long because I can?t find another apartment of this size in the area (relatively large square footage), but I?m still hoping to move!
The Bellwether doesn?t even bother to clean up the apartments from the previous tenants before the new tenants move in. You get met with dirty carpets, dirty walls filled with nails, dirty everything! I had a fit the day I moved in because the place was such a filthy mess. Since then, my incoming/revolving neighbors have told me that they were met with filthy apartments, too! Plus, the people who wrote about the noise were absolutely correct. You constantly get woken up in the middle of the night, you can never get a decent night?s sleep and the bottling plant is extemely annoying!
Plus, the Bellwether started charging the tenants for their water bills by "guessing" the amount that they owe! That?s right, they "estimate" how much you owe, because the apartments don?t have individual water meters. I pay more for water in my apartment than a friend in the area pays for his four bedroom house, and he has five kids! It?s pretty evident that the Bellwether is charging, not only for the water that the tenants use, but the water that the apartment complex uses, too.
The exercise room is filled with broken down cheap equipment. It?s not worth the bother. Oh, it looks good enough, until you try to use it. Then you?ll realize that it?s nothing but junk that isn?t maintained at all.
My advice: Don?t move into the Bellwether, unless you want to have a miserable experience and no sleep.
