I lived at Black Lake Apts.for over 2 years.
My first year was hell with the Lumberman's
yard waking me up every morning with loud PA
and forklift, and dropping lumber as early as 6 a.m.
Lara and her staff used poor ethics by not disclosing this problem that has to be a broken record of same tenant complaints of the Lumberman's noise.
I then was suckered in a deal of renewing another year lease on the oposite side, with the promise of a quiet area and new ceiling fans installed. Well to my suprise I never got the fans installed and I lived above a chainsmoking couple that filled my upstairs apartment with smoke all summer.
The maintenance staff use blowers at God awful early mornings, and I lived by the only basketball hoop, and was bothered by late night noise.
The apartments are thin walled, so I swear I could hear my neighbor snoring in the morning. And the living room window will not close flush, letting a draft in constantly. If I had the time and wasn't raising a family I would have hired an attourney and went to the Olympian paper on the atrocities and unethical conditions brought on by management.
Beware they do not disclose hidden utility fees until after you sign your lease.

I am planning on moving to Black Lake around August. I am currently stationed in Germany, so I do not have a oppertunity to view the grounds, apartment, staff, etc. before I come.
