Completely inadequate parking - You'll end up parking far away from the apartment. Obnoxious grounds maintenance noises at early hours. There's a huge and extremely noisy lumber yard behind many apartments which is not disclosed to you before you start renting. Apartment carpeting may be stained, torn up with bleach spots before moving in (they'll still most likely take your security deposit away for previous tenants damage). Rent goes up every year while amenities (what few there are) keep getting cut. Management will lose your files and your payments and act like it's your fault (even threaten eviction WHEN IT'S THEIR MISTAKE). Also, trash compactor is now on one end of the complex meaning you have to DRIVE your trash to the dumpster.
