I am happy to say that my lease is up at the end of March. When I first moved here it was great, they were pretty good about getting the information on the lease right (after calling me back in a few times to fix their mistakes) After a few months I needed to change room mates and that was a disaster. Then there was the parking lot fiasco, they repaved the parking lot for no reason then towed a bunch of cars from areas that no one knew was to be paved.
And now the final straw for me has been that they moved our conveniently placed dumpsters out of the complex and replaced them with a trash compactor (which they didn't tell us HOW to use, or what the security code was to get in there) to "beautify" the complex.
If you ask me these people are only out for money. Im crossing my fingers and hoping ill get my deposit back.
Update: After we moved out we received a detailed bill for the "problems" with our apartment. First of all, the dumbest mistake they made was saying that the window in our bathroom was dirty. There was no window in our bathroom. They also charged us for cleaning the carpets and re-painting the walls when we steam cleaned the carpets ourselves and there was nothing wrong with the walls, they were going to charge us $85 for this. When we went to contest the charges they said they charge everyone to do these things when they move out no matter what, so don't expect to get your deposit back. We were able to get them to break even but didn't get a cent of our deposit back.
