My first clue should of been how I was treating when I was only shopping for a new place to live. We were treated like we were bothering the girl and she was wearing a t-shirt and jeans. I know it was a Saturday but at least try to look like its a business. I moved in to the Phase II side because the price was decent for the amount of space we were given. However I have regreted that decision since day one. Half the blinds in the apartment dont work, the kitchen drawers keep falling out of the tracks, the dishwasher leaks and only goes thru half a cylce, and I could go on and on about the inside, but theres more on the outside. They pressure washed the buildings recently and my patio furniture, front and back door and walkways were covered in dirt and mud. When I called the office I was told that "this is to be expected when you use a pressure washer" Ok so I have to clean this up! There is dog crap all over the property and all they do is send out please clean your poop letters. Oh that works! If you call anything in as work order request they only give maintenance half of what you say needs fixed, and it usually takes them two or three times to get it done.And dont bother complaing about any loud neighbors because 1) They dont care and blow you off and 2) They tell them you complained and then they come to your door harassing you like your the one who likes to sit and listen to their music loud enough for world to hear. And the parking looks good at first untill you live here. They have this guest parking rule that your guests must park on the side street. NOT! I have one car and most of the time I have to fight for a parking spot in front of my building because all the "party" apartments have taken all the spaces for their guests, or other people are using them to store their cars that havent moved in months. Oh and if you work here you dont have to follow any rules, I found that out too late.
Basically the managemnt does not care about you. They cant be bothered to even learn your name. They also dont give you any incentive to sign a lease. They say "well its your choice if you want to move out or not" Actually they say this to the people who complain. They offered to clean my neighbors carpets and not mine for a lease renewal.
