I lived in a two-bedroom second floor apartment from 2004-2006.

The units are nice, however the management is not. I had a very unique situation where the roof leaked and all the water "pooled" in the attic above the master bedroom. Eventually, the ceiling gave way and gallons of dirty water crashed through the bedroom ceiling onto my brand new mattress (only had it for 2.5 weeks). It took them over a month to fix/replace the ceiling while I slept on the living room floor.

If the management staff was too cheap to hire contracters to fix it within a couple days, they should have informed me of the lengthy timeline and moved me to a different unit. Instead, they lead me to believe it would be fixed promptly and only offered a small rent concession. They wouln't even replace the mattress.

If it would have been feasible, I would have excersized my right to vacate premises within 24 hours and cancel my lease.
