Personally, I think the management is pretty bad. Whenever we called the office with a problem, we usually talked to one lady in particular, and we would tell her what was wrong and she said that she would notify maintenance or a manager. A few days would go by and nothing would happen and we would call the office and talk to someone else who said she never notified anyone of our problem, and never made a note of it.
Like the other reviewer, we also had issues with Cambridge Court not submitting our info to the electric company so we didn't get charged for four months until we investigated the issue our selves. Then we had a huge bill that accumulated and we had to call the electric company and work out a payment plan because Cambridge screwed up.
The appliances are very old and we have to call maintenance frequently to fix our broken dishwasher, dryer, etc. According to one of the employees there is also rumor that they may start charging tennants when one of their appliances breaks. I'm not sure how they could get away with that when all of their stuff is so dated and old and needs to be replaced...but I guess it could be possible.
I would say our apartment also has some serious mold issues. It grows in all the corners of our bedroom, along the windows and sliding glass door, along some edges of the ceiling, and along the edges of our kitchen floor. I've found that bleach takes care of it but within two weeks or so it starts coming back. I'm sure most of the apartment complexes around here deal with this though.
I know I have a lot of negative things to say about Cambridge Court but in all honesty I think they probably are some of the more decent apartments in this area. I have never felt unsafe here and I like all of my neighbors. The apartments are also reasonably priced considering how big they are. My husband and I looked at smaller apartments within a few mile radius and they all seemed to cost more than these. All in all they are alright...I'm sure the issues we have are issues that almost everyone puts up with when they live in an apartment. They are all tolerable things, and we haven't had anything so bad happen that has made us want to leave. And the management, although not the best, is definitely understanding when you have a problem.
