I went looking for a place to live about a 2 months ago and someone who I thought was my friend referred me to this place.

All I can say is the rent is not that cheap but the apartments are. The did everything but offer to make my car payments if I moved in.

Are they that hard up for people to move in'

My first experience: People in the waiting area saying that I may want to look other places before I apply...some one is upset with the manager I could see that happening...
Second: After waiting about 15 minute before a very upset woman came stomping through the door is was told by a tenant that I may want to leave before the manager comes back out
Third:I was told that I would have to pay some unholy amout for a deposit and that I wouldn't be able to get all of that back and then they would also charge me for carpet cleaning and other items.
Fourth:Then when I told them that none of thier criteria would be an issue....this woman said "we've heard that here before". (Maybe only stinky people who complain about the office staff in the waiting area are the only people that they rent to.)
Fifth and FINAL:I decided to take an applicaiton home with me. Thankfully I did...some cat that belonged to someone else, I was told was going to cost me $500 (non-refundable) took a you know what in my car. I was afraid to go back into the office because now the blinds were being closed.
If the inside of the apartments looked as cheesey as the office & I had to deal with that situation every month when I pay my rent I think I will skip that little adventure in torture land.
