great location but thin walls

I just moved here a month ago and it seems to be pretty nice. It is in a great location and is very well maintained.
The bad parts are THIN WALLS I can hear the person above me using the bathroom, walking and getting in and out of bed (luckly it is a quiet person living above me with no kids or I would be going crazy!). There is no linen closet and not much space in the kitchen. The bedrooms are small but work.
Living room is nice with a fireplace. They keep the apts. updated with new carpet and fixtures. Everyone has their own covered parking space.
