Renter Beware

This apartment has problems on many levels. The walls are paper thin. If I have my TV turned off I could hear conversations from the people above and below me. The parking is a nighmare. I had to buy a carport just to park my car, but this did guarantee me a parking spot. In the two years that I lived there, there were over 70 occations were someone else was parked in my parking space. After many complains to the manager, they just posted a notice on the doors of the apartments expaining the rules. The maintaince staff is horrible. When I moved in, my dryer was not working properly. I made appointments on three separate occations to get it looked at, but noone showed up for the appointments. I finally had to call a repair man to fix it. The worst thing of all is the amount of times that they had to enter the apartment for inspections and repairs. It is on average about 6 times a year. It would not be bad if it was one just on day, but it is between 8 and 5 for a 5 day span so you never know when they are going to open the door.
One thing to watch out for we you move out is that they charge you for normal wear and tear on the carpet, small nail holes, and repainting the entire apartment. I am questioning the legality of some of these charges.
The only good things that I have to say is the square footage is nice and so is the floor plan.
