Well, to make things short I can say that my experience here has been the worst along with many others. Maintenance is very poor with the facilities of Mariner's Glen, the staff is very undertrained and unreliable with giving necessary information to tenants. If you sign those papers, you find an unusual amount of rules you are expected to keep, which they do enforce. I can leave an email address if you would like a copy of what your lease agreement entails, it is long they paraphrase you through it making you think they don't really stick to it when they do. Your Military Clause you will find is different in the agreement than normal clauses, you basically can't break the lease without paying a lot of money, legally they have you in a bind if you try to go so where else. Things break down on an average of once a month. Floyd the maintenance man, is the worst worker with no worker ethics. He is good at temporarily fixing things, but does not give a permanent fix. If you have complaints the manager's keep themselves pretty distant from you, often they can't give you answers on things, you get put on the "back burner". The great workout facilities, spas, and pools they try to sell you on are closed, broken, or shut down quite often. Their equipment looks like it was bought from a yard sale 10 years ago. Among other things, I would just be very careful, they only care about your money. Oh one last thing you are locked into having to buy the cable they entered into a contract agreement with for 20 years, which is unbelievably expensive. Also you have to get phone service through Qwest which also is not the best prices. Since they are in a contract agreement with the local cable company, you won't be able to get cable internet, AT&T, etc. You are very limited, very, very limited on getting Directtv, Dishnetwork, mini satellite systems. I would never come to a place like this again, just a rule of thumb any not applying to any particular apartment business, anyone that requires you to sign so many rules and release forms is shady, they rent to people dishonest, or they themselves or dishonest, regardless as much as you may want them to be right, be careful, you may be locked into making a payment that is not worth they money or time.
