Orchard on the Green is a fabulous place to live... if you can get past the manager. She is hard to work with, has no willingness to listen to residents issues, and generally has poor people skills. I was once told that on a certain issue "there is nothing I [she] can do about it." Two days later I spoke with the assistant manager who had the problem fixed within 10 minutes. This summers residing project has caused nothing but stress and is a key factor in my decision to move on. I would've definitely rated the office staff at 5 stars without the current manager. Maintenence staff is for the most part (there is always ONE exception) prompt in dealing with issues. The landscaping is alright. A bit brown for the area, but I hear improvements in that area are coming too. The apartment itself has lovely partible board cabinetry that crumbles off frequently and definitely needs updating. I will give this place some credit: they are at least TRYING to make it nicer than it currently is with the major rennovation. Unfortunately, the one thing they need to change (the manager) is still here.

On a side note, if you are considering moving here, notice that (at least at the time of my writing my review) EIGHT out of TEN of these reviews focus on one person. Should the owner of this property read this, ITS TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE.
