I stayed here only a few months because I was new to the area. It is ghetto. The leasing agent tried telling me it's older but very well built and well maintained. Also, how it's cheaper than the newer apartments in the area.
Personally, for my money I'd rather pay a little more for something more modern and up to code. The electrical and set up is so out of date I don't know how the buildings are still standing. I don't think my grandparents ever had appliances that were this old! Everytime I walked in the door to the building it had a funky smell. Lights don't work in the stairwell half the time. I guess if I had to choose between the cougar apartments and a cardboard box on the street, I'd choose the Cougar apartments but it's a tough choice.
I tried letting the office know of my unhappiness and they showed me some other properties but they are all the same. Old & outdated. Don't say you havn't been warned.

Any fair-minded individual would have difficulty reconciling with reality what this reviewer is talking about. Obviously, objectivity is a quality not frequently practiced. In the final analysis, one has to see for themselves. Anyone, even a competitor, can hide behind a no-name review.

svet-moi's response has to be someone who works for the property. I have lived here and wrote my own no-name review, I have a right to remain private, so does this person as well.
