Wilru Apartments

I lived in Wil-Ru last year, and I had mixed feelings about the place. My apartment was clean and spacious, the management was generally very helpful, and there was usually plenty of parking. The complex is situated so that it is easy to catch the bus around town or to campus, but also far enough away to keep things relatively quiet. However, I also discovered that I could hear all of my neighbors constantly (walking around, music, yelling, loud sex, etc.), especially the people who lived in the apartment above mine, and that really destroyed my experience there. I was paying $425/mo. for a 1-bdrm., which was pretty reasonable. The heating bills weren't terrible either, but I definitely recommend getting plastic to put over your windows in the winter to help reduce your costs. Overall, the complex was a good place to live, but your experience will really depend on your neighbors--if you want absolute peace and quiet, then this probably isn't the place for you.
