Chestnut Hills is Horrible, in fact I would reccomend that you never live in any Equity Residential Apartment, I have lived in 3 and all had the same problems, High insane rent for the slum you get, 512 noises ringing through your place at all hours. Do you like knowing everything your neighbors are doing' if so this apartment is for you. the one dumpster is very far away, always full and overflowing yet they want to raise the price every month! as another former tenant mentioned Drainage is an issue. everytime it rains my apartment walkway floods into my living room all because they won't clean out the Rain Gutters, I have brought this to the managers attention more times then I can count yet nothing gets done. My Wifes Car had the window smashed out once, her car ransacked more times than I can count. We also have in the year and a half I have lived here recieved 2 notices of Home Invasion type Robberies and Just straight up Burglary, Do yourself a favor and Don't move here

I lived there from 2003-2005. We had the exact same drainage issue... flooded our livingroom twice. Then when we moved out, they tried to charge us for all new carpeting claiming that we must have had a pet in the apartment (we never owned a pet).

They are actually doing the same thing to me! they want 600 dollars for it when we never owned a pet either!
