Unprofessional staff

I have been living here for a little over a year. I moved in because I was very impressed with the outside appearance. Once I moved in I steadily became very disappointed with the inside appearance. First, I was shown a nice renovated apartment that faced the courtyard, what I got was an apartment that was not renovated only painted the renovated color and the renovated price. Plus, my apartment backs a commercial bldg. No privacy unless blinds are closed all the time. I have also had to contact the office for maintenance calls for every single door in my house. They all manage to fall off their hinges, rollers, etc. One nearly hit me as I was dressing in my room one morning. Plus, the apartments have a huge problem with pests. We've had our apartment sprayed for ants and fleas four times! Our toilet has broken twice and an old pipe busted and flooded several of the apartments including ours. Better make sure you have your insurance because at this place you will actually use it. Second, the staff is very unprofessional and not very knowledgable. They have no idea what is actually going on except for the manager. If you ask one person they tell you one thing and another person tells you that's not how they do things. I have found that it is better to call Investco the property group directly. The parking at the complex is a joke, we have to pay $10 for a covered spot and everyone does it because if you don't there are not enough spaces to part. In that case most guests and residents double park. There is lighting in the carports, but the complex states they can't turn them on because it violates a utility law. So cars get broke into and recently stolen. The complex can get noisy with parties and spousal fights, but you are better off contacting the police to resolve these matters because calling the leasing office does nothing. I have lived in one other apartment that was worse than this and it was a bad area of Auburn. One good thing about Riverside Park is there is very little police activity.
