Rude Staff discouraged me

I was looking to move to Redmond in late summer, and stopped by to see an apartment.

The lady in the office, a dark-haired woman, was cool and rude, had no apartment to show, and didn't offer to let me know if one opened up in the next few days. I looked elsewhere.

I'm a professional with a good job and an excellent rental record, so it wasn't as if I appeared to be an undesirable tenant. I guess she's just that way. No matter, I found another place to live.
