Great apartment

I loved this apartment and would have stayed there in a heartbeat if we didn't move to Portland. It's a little on the older side (old cabinets and a tiny microwave from 1985), but it was huge and comfortably nice. The staff were very sweet and left us a welcome basket, hand towels, toilet paper and shower curtains when we moved in. Most of the neighbors were really nice and introduced themselves (one even offered to help us move our stuff in). The manager loves cats and they will actually come in and feed your cat for you if you go out of town (for free). We broke the lease and they were very nice about it, only taking our security deposit. The area is right in downtown Redmond, so you can walk over to a coffee shop or to the store (although if you live up the hill it's a bit of a trek back). The only downsides were: My brother-in-law had problem with his rental history so our deposit was $2000; I had no problem with noise, but he (my brother-in-law) claimed that he could hear water running while in his bedroom; our place had some kooky angles that some may not like. Toward the end we couldn't use our fire place because of some problem that was never resolved. Overall though, this was one of the best places I've ever lived in.
