I've Lived Here for Years

I've lived here for over 5 years now and it has been a great experience, especially since we got our new manager. My sister lived here first and convinced us to be her neighbor. I wouldn't have found 95th Court without her help. It is in a great neighborhood and the rent was so reasonable, especially for Redmond. We have tennis courts right next door, nice surroundings, the grounds are well kept, and our manager Eli is so responsive. Recently our dishwasher needed to be replaced. He was at another location that day, but he called me to see if the guys made it there to install the new one. I was so impressed!

One thing you'll notice if you call about this place, there is usually a waiting list. Consider that a good sign! I would say it is worth being on the waiting list. I was on it for a couple months and then the apartment right next door to my sister opened up.

Before I end this, I'm going to give a list of things I like about this place:

Plenty of parking 95% of the time. If there isn't a lot available, there is parking in front of the tennis courts, so you can tell your guests to park there instead if needed.

Large bedrooms

Roomy kitchen with lots of cupboards

Lots of closet space for storing stuff, including shelves above the washer and dryer

Good sized bathrooms

Manager stays on top of regular inspections including the dryer, chimney, and sprinkler system (I feel secure knowing we have a pretty low risk of fire and if there is one, the sprinklers will do their job. Fire is my worst fear.)

Fireplaces! They're cool because they are in the corner and so you get the heat from the side and front. During the 5 day power outage last year, this came in very handy. Our kids slept in front of it and stayed warm.

Additional storage: There are some storage units under the C building, which has come in quite handy for us. That's extra, of course, but pretty reasonable.

Small complex: There are only 4 buildings here and we are in the middle of a residential neighborhood. You wouldn't even guess this complex is here. I've never liked complexes that are so big, you get into the Z building and beyond.

I would say my main complaint comes down to two words:

Beige carpet

Beige carpet and children don't mix, especially in an eating area. Heck, I can be pretty clumsy myself! Every spill makes me a little anxious. I don't know if this is being installed in every unit, but my sister's place had more of a light brown color.

I highly recommend this place. We refuse to move into another apartment even though it's gotten cramped for us with the kids, so we're holding out for a house. I was looking through rental listings and noticed a 4 bedroom apartment in Renton on this site and was curious about it. It had terrible ratings and I was grateful to live here. Then I figured I should write a review about my own apartment as I find reviews very helpful.

Oh, how could I forget to tell the best part about my bathrooms' The 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath is the best. The master bath is ginormous with a shower AND bathtub. You can take a shower while your kids are in the bath and keep an eye on them. So it's the same square footage as the 2 bedroom 2 bath, but cheaper. And the 2 bedroom 2 bath doesn't have the rockin' master bathroom. I love having the half bath because I don't stress as much when we have company. It's less to clean up and I don't have to resort to silly tactics like closing the shower curtain to hide any messes I didn't get around to cleaning up yet. :-D

The picture I'm adding is of a wooden sculpture right next to the tennis courts. There is a beautiful lookout there that the kids really enjoy.

Ok, I'm done gushing now. I've lived in some horrible apartments three times and I'm so grateful to have such a great apartment, neighborhood, and management.
