The Good:
Office and service people are courteous and professional, if not always the brightest(eyebrow ring office girl, I'm thinking of you).
Service requests are not typically followed up within the 24 hour guarantee put forth by Archstone Corporate, but they are still pretty fast.
Parking is good, just don't expect to always get a spot near your building.
The Bad:
It is called lakeview, but 80 to 90% of the apartments have a view of either trees or other buildings, not the lake.
The renovated apartments with "granite counters" have granite laminate counters, not solid granite. I suspect the same applies to the "hardwood floors" and the "stainless steel" (probably polished aluminum) appliances.
The Ugly:
Expect your garbage/recycling man to show up at 6 am a few times a month.
At least one of your neighbors will have subwoofers in their cars or thier apts., and they will use them after office hours, when you can't do much about it except wrap a pillow around your head.
Kids play in the lot, because their parents are too lazy to walk the quarter mile to the park. I fear one day it will come to something worse than an annoyance. Sometimes parents and their children will scream at each other in the halls, and it sounds like they are in your living room with you.
You can feel it when your neighbors are using the stairs, much like you can feel the vibration of their subwoofers.
A car alarm goes off daily here.
The bottom line: You can do better for your hard-earned money. Keep looking.

If you wanted privacy you got it the day you F*@#$N moved out.Like i said on my last comment i have lived here for 2 years and all this problems come from f@%*en people that think they are all that. and have no ----3n life.. Thanks to you i live better
