Expensive but worth thinking about

Very thin walls, you can hear your downstairs
neighbors sneezing in the middle of the night. The doors slam and are noisy, like the other reviewer said, and there are no light fixtures except in the kitchen and hallway - you have to buy LOTS of lamps to make this place bright and to have any light to read by. The fireplace smokes a lot - it's a tiny convection fireplace and on really cold or rainy nights the smoke would rather go into your house than up the chimney. Still, the apartment management has the chimneys cleaned once a year, the exterior walls and windows powerwashed and is pretty quick with maintenance. Lovely grounds, swimming pool maintained pretty well. The parking situation is abysmal - depending on which building you live in you may be parking BLOCKS away from your home when you drive in on a rainy night with groceries. I like the large windows and spacious apartments with porches and storage areas. The location is great - right next to Microsoft - but there are noisy crowded roads, try to get a building on the inside of the complex. Friendly staff, lots of interesting neighbors from many countries.
