work orders get forever to get fixed, and unless you put it in writing Avalon does not have any legal obligation to fix issues in a timely manner. They know this, you don't. They profit from it, you're a sucker.

Know the law, but better yet...move on to better options.

The location is great and I wish I had a better experience.

I have recently had a major problem with my apartment and they not only were very accomodating but had it fixed within 2 weeks. They worked with our schedule and did everything in their power to make us happy. I'm not sure this is the most fair rating based on the content.... maybe you should know the law a little better.

First of all please read http://BadBadAvalon.blogspot.com for my complete story. Second - thank you for your comment. It is always helpful to have other residents reaffirm my basic management problems with this living community. This is why: (a) Avalon advertises as a newly renovated luxury apartment complex and charges supper high rates, and yet you too have MAJOR problems that required 2 WEEKS to fix. That's a lot!! especially for a newly upgraded luxury apartment complex. I'm on my 3rd week without a bathroom already. (b) If you are expecting a tenant to know the Landlord-Tenant laws to have a great living experience while paying an arm and a leg for rent - future renters...be aware!!!!! Also, please note: the maintenance folks are working as hard and as well as they can. That I know. The building and management IMHO suck! Again, thank you for your post, and since it was made in such a public forum I'll reference it on my personal site since it is a great complement to my experiences and observations.
