The rent doens?t include the parking, which is $25 a month. (free uncovered parking is very limited and hard to find) And you need to pay part of water/sewerage/garbage, which is about $30-35. This adds $50 or 60 more to the already hign monthly rent, while a lot of other apartments have this included in their rent. When my lease ends and wants to go month by month, it is increased to $975/month (not including parking and W/S/G). Of course I chose to move out for a much better deal.



When I moved out, their maintenance staff did a walkthrough with me and signed "everything ok" on the checklist, and said that it was the best move-out condition he had seen. But the manager still charged me for carpet cleaning. They said that they had to do this, and they do this professional carpet cleaning for everyone. (this was not on the lease) But I also know two friends got full refund from them. When I gave the manager my friend?s name and apartment #, the manager looked at the file and said that "we did charge him". But when I double checked with two of my friends, they confirmed that it was not the case! WHY would they not want to tell the truth' And even ridiculous was that when I contacted their customer complain manager, I was told that "my friends were not charged because the apartment would need to replace the carpet because it was too old!" But the manager at the apartment DID "check" the files and told me that they DID charge my friends for extra professional carpet cleaning!



And even worse, because the original checklist was signed by their staff as "everything was OK", so they used a new checklist to charge me. The new list, of course, doesn?t have my move-in signature! They know that they can?t use the original one to charge me becaseu it was signed with "everything was OK"!



When I talked to their customer complain manager, he said something like "if your friends knows how much you are charged, they would feel happy that this is a good apartment to live". But will you be happy if you are charged for something that you are not suuposed to pay'
