Having lived here for nearly 6 years now, I can say I've seen it all. Considering the other apartments in the area I would say these are the best, HOWEVER be prepared for useless management and horrible pool hours. For the record, this apartment used to be owned and run by the "Verandas" organization which was supurb in most regards. Then the management was changed to a man and woman who were ok (now Avalon). That was several years ago, now it seems as if the managers are in and out every several months. Maintance people are rude and useless most of the time (except for Crystal). This summer the pool has been closed 3 times, each because management doesn't know a thing about pool maintance, seems as if they can't get out of their own way (they fix something and break another). Last manager had so many complaints he ended up leaving, all he would do in the office is flirt with some white girl. In fact the only good thing about the office are the pretty women, doesn't mean they know much. They have become picky as to who gets a garage and who doesn't. We have been fortunate to get a couple but at night parking is impossible, the other night I was forced to park infront of my own garage. As of last year pool hours were cut to 10 P.M. a joke considering it doesnt get dark until nearly 9 and people still jump the fence after the gates are locked. Atleast let us paying rentors enjoy the pool until 12 on weekends! The list goes on, broken grills and a trendmill which hasn't run in months. Plumbing is horrible as well, be ready with the plunger. In the winter the waterlines freeze setting the firealarms off at odd times in the morning ( 2 or 3 oclock). Everyone has to get out and wait for fire dept. to arrive.

On a good note the rentors are very nice (cept for one), every neighbor I've had has been very good about noise, ignore previous reviewer said "trailor trash" has moved in. No idea what their talking about. Good middle to upper class white community. With presentable cars, only one crime I can remember was car broken into several years ago. Unfortunate occurance which could happen anywhere. Overall these apartments are ok, better than the rest.
