Don't Bother Looking Here.

My family was lured into signing a one year lease at Avignon by the attraction of new construction and a spacious living area. They offered us some nice incentives to move in and it wasn't long before we could see why! New construction, true, but hands down the worst construction I have ever seen. Within a period of only six months, we had linoleum peeling in the kitchen, the bathroom, carpeting coming unglued from the stairs, and the walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbor when he snored at night! Needless to say, noise complaints were common, as it was as if we lived in the some house as the strangers next door. To make matters worse, the management was unhelpful in all matters, and felt free to enter our unit at any time, without giving us notice, even when we were't there. Finally, when our lease was up, and we were counting the days until we could leave, they offered us a new lease for roughly a 7% increase in monthly rent! What a slap in the face! I would not recommend renting from Avignon to my worst enemies.
