When I moved in they nickled and dimed me out of three months rent plus a deposit and a non-refundable pet deposit.
It was so much my bank actually stoped one of the four checks because it looked like fraud.
Nevertheless, I needed a place to move to in a hurry and Avignon looked like a sure bet.
Never bet against the house! My kids couldnt sleep in the front bedroom because of all of the traffic noise.
I also thought Id signed a 10 month lease but found out it was eight and the current rate for my apartment was $2100 so pay up or move out.
I chose the later and luckily I found a place for half of what I was paying Avignon.
Of course after I tell them Im moving out they offer me a new rent $455 over what I was paying in an already crumbling rental market.
Two months after I moved out of that noisy place I finally got part of my refund.
A week later I got the rest.
Today I just found out the first check bounced and now Im waiting for the second one to bounce too.
My advice is to run, dont walk, away from Avignon before they squeeze you like a grape.
