We lived at BonTerra for 3 years and it was very quiet and would refer fiends to this building as it was like living in my own home, good Management and luxury living.

Kathy Stanton is the assistant manager. I should say, WAS the manager. Both she and her mother (the manager) were just fired. They really weren't bad, just unorganized and gossipy. My adviseDO NOT RENT HERE. This is a private owed property and the owner is a CHEAPSKATE and will either ignore or lie about any maintenance concerns or will try to repair them himself. He is somewhat of an eccentric and reins terror in the office. He has fired 3 management companies in 4 years! We're supposed to be getting a 4th management company this week. Maintenance staff (HA!)is one person, but he is super polite and friendlya real likable guy. The housekeeper, only one, is LAZY, and the maintenance guy does some of her workthey are a young married couple. There are NO amenities, no gym, nothing. The owner compares his prices to other apartments which have amenities...comparing apples to oranges. The underground garage entrance is very steep. Low-riding cars scrape going down into the garage and there is virtually no street parking. The walls are quiet, but the ceilings are thin. It really doesn't matter though because there are two older apartment communities across the street and residents living there are really loud and CREEPY! There are ambulances there frequently for drug overdoses and domestic abuse, and traffic up and down the street at all hours of the night. I was told Bon Terra is a non-smoking building, but it clearly isn't and is not monitored or enforced. People also let their dogs run off leash and they don't pick up after them. Some even let their dogs pee in the garage and on the flower boxes! The building itself looks nice and aesthetically pleasing and the kitchens are pretty nice (sort of cheap, but they look good). The lobbies are tacky, the hall carpeting is cheap and 7 years old. There are not restrictions on what people can have on or near their doorways in the halls. There are such random and tacky décor, it's embarrassing to bring friends over. People also leave muddy shoes and garbage bags outside their doors! At first glance, everything looks nice, but a lot of the clientele are low-class. Bottom line, unless the odd owner sells the buildingservice, maintenance, and rents won't be stable.
