Our previous experiences with Equity were average to above average, we had lived in two other properties of theirs but after living at Chelsea Square we're done with them.

Property upkeep is almost non-existant, problems were painted over, pools of stagnant water were covered up with more rocks, just ridiculous.

Management was often "away" when you called.

Gated community is nice and that's about it.

The Park & Ride is right next door so on those sides traffic is non-stop. The post office is behind the property, so traffic there all day and early too with the mail trucks coming in and going out (this includes Semi trucks); and late at night you can hear the "humming" of the machines running inside the PO while inside your apartment even with the windows closed. So unless you get a rare inside, green area, facing apartment be prepared for that.

When we moved in to our first apt there it was filthy, and they claimed it had been cleaned. I spent over 4 hours scrubbing everything as the soot and grime was sooo bad in areas it was sticky.

In the two apartments we had our fireplaces LEAKED in to our apartment. Multiple times. Once it soaked our carpet with a flood of water. Birds repeatedly built their nests at the top and more than once we heard them fall in to the flu - the management and maintenance never attempted to fix or cover the openings so this was a problem for nearly two years. We never were able to use the fireplace either.

Best part about this place was location. And that was it. Better apartments in the area in my opinion. But every place has it's pros/cons.
