We lived in Chelsea because its ratings were high.
When we lived there management changed and new management was really bad.
On our lease renewal, their offer was a ridiculosly high amount. We moved to a house and we are paying less then even the previous rent.
When we told the management that we want to move, they asked us whether they can show our house to future tenants when we are not at home. Imagine if something is stolen.
Appliances are very old. Most of them are original (from 1980s) not renewed.
There is no microwave.
It is also very noisy. Since it is very close to a medical center, postoffice and fire station, there is always noise very hour. Early in the morning, you can wake up to the noise of unloading post office trucks or bus breaks.

Lease renewals are offers and are negotiable. Showing your unit is their right after you have given them your notice of intent to not renew your lease; they must give you 48 hours notice and there is nothing you can do.
Some of the appliances are older but definitely not from the 80's. This complex was built ~1993. The ovens are typically Hotpoint units that all apartments have.
I have had perfect experiences with appliance replacement the one time my washing machine malfunctioned-- it was replaced the next day with a brand new one.
Chad, the maintenance guy, lives on site and goes the extra effort to make sure you are taken care of. I was walking through the parking lot to the mailbox one day and an elderly lady of about 80 stopped me and asked if I had seen Chad around. The maintenance is quick, efficient, and friendly
Regarding noise, when you were considering moving in and saw that you were 50 feet away from the post office did you not consider that there would be noise from the trucks? We are also right in the heart of Redmond next to the transit center. At 5am if you are awake you can hear the buses turn on their engines, but it won't wake you.
The management is nothing but courteous, extremely approachable, and sincere. They don't BS you to get you in the door, and really go the extra mile to work with you to ensure you will be pleased with your unit.
