Only if you're not paying for it...

The company I work for is currently paying for me to live here while I look for an apartment. However, judging from the price I have to pay after my free month is up ($100 a day - that's about $3000 a month) coupled with the motel-like feeling of the place, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to lease.
Timberlawn apartments are decent, if you're just staying temporarily, and about half of the buildings are in a nice wooded area. Our unit, however, is right next to a major street in Redmond, and the loud vehicles that zoom by all day can easily be heard through the tightly-closed windows and patio door.
The location is pretty good, especially if you're a Microsoft employee - I can see their buildings across the street through the trees, and it's only about 10 minutes to malls, grocery stores, and restaurants. Probably 5 minutes to route 520 and 15 minutes to downtown redmond and redmond town center.
Overall, great location but the obviously old and cheap appliances (oven, washing machines, dish washer) and motel-chic furniture aren't something I'd be impressed with if I were going to rent a furnished unit. I'm not sure if they offer unfurnished units, but I certainly would hope not, if they're going to be charging $3k a month for a 1-bedroom suite. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
