Today, February 27th, I had about 20-30 Law Enforcement agents surround my building, going after someone. Yuck. It was crazy, no one could get in, get out. We had SWAT out here, I mean serious hardcore heartattack type stuff here! So...think about it. Oh yeah, there's only one garbage point in the whole complex, so if you don't live close to the garbage compactor, get used to putting your garbage bags on the hood, top, or trunk of your car. That, or you'll get your exercise taking out the trash. Also, only one mail point. Parking is at a premium. Having spoken to former residents, each apartment used to come with a carport. No longer is that the case. Now, you RENT a carport (approx. $25) or a garage ($100.00, approx).
If you're stubborn, you may end up without a parking spot, because the rest of the spots are open to residents and visitors alike. The apartment manager doesn't live on site, so after hours complaints really aren't handled. There aren't enough free parking spaces for each apartment to have one space, so people are inevitably forced to rent the previously free carports. Obnoxious neighbors are allowed to run amok, as last summer, there were some people living in this building who turned the driveways into parking lots as they threw parties. When this happened, if your vehicle happened to be blocked in, you were STUCK. Complaints to the manager were ignored, and the excuse "Oh, they're just KIDS." was even used! Gimme a break.
