When we first moved in, we were right out of college, and thought this place would be great. It wasn't. We were constantly butting heads with the management over every little thing. Towards the end of our year stay, the management did get a little better, but not quite up to par.
The parking is an absolute attrocity. Try having 3 cars in a 3 bedroom apartment, and not paying for any additional parking...you will have quite a walk from wherever you do find to park your car.
They advertise that it is a gated community, and that is true...it does have a gate. Unfortunately, the gate is constantly being worked on and is always open.
We had no problems with other tenants, and enjoyed our neighbors.
The worst of it was when we moved out. We cleaned our apartment very well, and they still kept all of our deposit ($150). Then they told us that the stain in the bedroom required that they recarpet the entire apartment because the color is hard to find (simple grey), at a cost to us of $1200.
After reading the opinion below where they got charged for a stain as well, I decided I should write my opinion. Being told that a 1200 square foot apartment is seamless...is ridiculous.
All in all, I cant recommend this apartment complex...and from other experiences, I would be very careful renting from any Simpson Property Groups.
