Can't remember the exact dates that I lived at Benson, but after reading all of the bashing that is going on, I couldn't help but post in their defense.
While I was a resident, I was quite happy with the accomodations. The management, (though a different staff then currently), was very attentive. The maintenance staff was top notch and yes, it is the same maintenance staff that resides there today.
When I transfered out of Benson to another Simpson Property, it went off without a hitch. Everyone was very accomodating. It was at that time that Kathy had just come on board and she bent over backwards to fulfill our requests.
The only drawback to our stay there was the horribly loud children above us....oh, and the neighbor who had accidentally turned on the dryer while her cat lay fast asleep in it. She asked me to remove the cat....honest to God, it really happened.
