Want to feel violated not only by someone that breaks into your apartment on what would have been the 4th night there and than have the apartment manager say that yes you have a 30 day guarantee but you get absolutely no money back.
WHAT A JOKE OF MANAGEMENT!!!
Kathy the apartment manager says that they have to be consistent and follow the fair housing laws. I think under these special circumstances this property could pro-rate the rent and charge just a carpet cleaning and return the rest of the money since the lessee was ROBBED at their apartment complex. But oh no they will keep $1,300 and say they are doing you the favor of allowing you to have a 30 day guarantee. Well where is the guarantee that they will provide adequate security. My apartment R104 did not have a screen even on the window. Oh and a police report was filed.
Oh and by the way after the first night they were planning on moving me to another unit since the noise upstairs was so bad.
Do yourself and loved ones a favor STAY SAFE and DON't MOVE INTO BENSON DOWNS

I know this review is old, but for anyone else who reads it, check the landlord/tenant laws for the state. There are specific protocols for crime victims that may help anyone who's suffered this experience.
