Benson Downs has been a wonderful place to call home for the last 2 1/2 years. It is an apartment community so you know you are going to hear noises, deal with parking, have a leak now and then. But the staff are excellant at taking care of things promptly, they really care about all the residents and you can tell by how well our homes are maintained. They do lots of activities for the residents and always ask how things are going. I wouldn't put too much credit to the folks that complain - they are usually the problem people anyway. And-they did create new parking spaces and assigned everyone a parking spot to help ease the parking issues - they really do care!!!

I wonder who would say this...staff..patting your own back are you???? I have been at Benson for a number of yrs, and find the maintenance crew to be a nice group, but the office staff could care less about how you are doing? as for activities, what a joke...nothing like timeing your activitites when everyone is at work, but hey the staff does like to take the left overs home. Which by the way if they stopped hoarding the food Cathy might be able to lose a "little" weight

Did they cut you a break on your rent in exchange for false advertising? Of course one cannot expect silence and unlimited parking in an apartment complex, but this goes far beyond that. --They did NOT assign everyone a parking place. Residents who wish to have a reserved space must pay extra each and every month, and only one space per unit is permitted. --They care all right, about money and will go to extensive and illegal lengths to get it. We pay over $200 more than what an apartment this size in this area is worth, and they've already tried to stiff us twice with illegal late fees. (we had to call in lawyers the second time) Look at all the other reviews of those who thoroughly cleaned their apartments and were not only stiffed on their refunds but sent to collections without so much as a notice of a bill! That IS illegal. (so is withholding a deposit for no reason, but it's nearly impossible to prove and they know it) Suck it up pal, this place doesn't live up to a word in your post.

I wonder who wrote this? The only positive responses and yet you are still admiting there are noise and parking problems. And no not everybody gets a parking space. I got a three bedroom and our space was a row up from our actual car and we asked if we could buy another one and you guys said no you only leased out garages for more than twice the price as you had previously lied and said a undercover spot would be. At first I thought maybe just the bad reviews where from the "problem" because you are more likley too write a review if you where unhappy but no. This place is horrible. The manager would avoid me by always leaveing me notes. Then I would talk too the staff and they would tell me everything was allright then I would recieve another non compliance letter from the manager and I would call and she would never be there and that would go back and forth. I only actually saw her in person once my hole yeat I was there.
