As several others have mentioned, their motto seems to be "get them to sign a lease, get their money, and forget about the rest". I had an extremely rude upstairs neighbor who would lock their dog out on the balcony all day, urine constantly dripping down on my patio and an awful stench, yet NO action taken after several complaints to the "management". Later, I realized the reason they weren't doing anything about it was becuase the people upstairs were on subsidized housing from the government which equaled guaranteed rent every month. If you are a hard working person and want a peaceful sanctuary away from partiers and rude neighbors, dont come to benson downs. Everything about this place goes 100% against simpson property group's so called mission statement. stay far away.. or head up the hill to fairwood.

I totally agree with all the negative PR about this place. I lived there 6 years ago. I had my car broken into because the gate broke and wasn't fixed for weeks. Everything was stolen and when I informed management they didn't seem to care. Then when I moved out, I received a notice in the mail from collections for the last cleaning services from when I moved. Luckily I saved all my check stubs and was able to prove that I did in fact pay. The fact that they sent it to collections without 1) checking their records and 2) bothering to give me a call asking where the money just shows how unprofessional they are.
