This place is insane. I've lived here for several years, and even when the old owner was in charge the place was horrible. It's infested with silverfish, and the management couldn't care less about it.
The plumbing fixtures are so old that they're still using copper toilet risers, which, if bumped will leak all over the place in seconds.
The Management here has been replaced so many times, I'm not sure who's in charge, or who I need to go to to get something fixed. In the one occasion that I finally got someone to perform maintenance, it took the manager several hours to replace an item that only needed a 5 minute repair.
The management here will also find ANY reason to invade your privacy. They'll make up any reason to come into your place while you're not at home. This is done with such frequency as to be a bi-weekly event.
Recently the old owner sold the place to an investment group of one person, who decided to raise everyone's rent $110 a month. While this might not seem so bad, it's the third rate increase this year.
I've looked around at other places in the area, and for the price they're now asking for rent, these other places have pools, and rec centers, and tennis courts. This place has none of those things, but charges a similar rate. This to me speaks of a separation from reality that is not good for an owner to suffer from.
It's been said that the reason for the rate increase is to flip the complex,(sell it off again) in which case this will only continue until all the units stand empty.
Move in at your own risk. I'd advise against it though.

Your rent only went up 110? mine went up 190 they took away my parking spaces, and they won't let me burn wood in my fireplace anymore.
