Not great...not bad. I found this site while doing some research on finding a new apt so I thought I would put my two cents in on Marina Landing. I've lived here over a year and a half and the manager is very nice and fair. She's the best we've had so far. The ladies who work in the office can't do enough for you and the maintenance guys are nice so service wise Marina Landing is good. The apt's. themselves leave a lot to be desired. Mold seems to be a very very serious problem here and thats one of the main reasons I'll be looking to move out. I moved into one of the "refurbished" apts and it looked nice at first but the whole place is falling apart! The ceiling fans aren't mounted properly so if you use them then they shake and rattle. The cabinetry is the cheapest they could find that passed for looking nice (cabinet doors fall off consistantly....almost injured my dog once!) The bathroom fixtures are cheap and my ceiling leaks! The utilities they have you pay for are horribly over priced and the trash cans are always full and smelly while the larger items seem to stay in front of the dumpsters for over a month before they are disposed of. I will be moving to one of the three other apts available right here on Lk Washington and the since the rent is so high here it is no longer the value I expected. My only other complaint is that they should come up with a fine or frankly EVICT my fellow dog owners that allow their pets to leave landmines all over the place here....jease...just pick up after your dog already! The pool is nice here, the residents are nice, the staff can't do enough for you so service wise it's great and overall it's really not horrible at all.....it's just the inconveinences now outway the value and the mold is worrisome. If the price of an apt here was more competitive I don't think I would complain but when your paying for say .... a Hyatt and end up at a motel 6...your probably not going to be too happy. When my lease is up I'll move immediatly....just less then 5 months to go!
