This place is highly overpriced for what the complex offers. The management at this complex is very unresponsive to resident concerns. They grossly overcharged me for "damages" upon move out. They were not willing to engage in a discussion over the unexplained cleaning charges. If you decide to rent here, be prepared to not only forfiet your entire deposit but to write a nice hefty check for additional cleaning fees. Don't waste your time trying to ensure your apartment is clean upon move out because they will come up with hundreds of dollars of charges that they will not be able to explain. Stay away from Marina Landing!

Yes, the same thing happened to us. We moved out in July 2006, and I cleaned the heck out of that place!! I spent an entire day cleaning and scrubbing, making sure everything was perfect, and they still charged us $500 for cleaning/damages. We received the notes from their walk through, and they wrote down that things were "filthy" when I know I spent a lot of time cleaning everything on their stupid list. My suggestion is to do your final walk-through WITH the management so you can ask them about what they are going to charge you for before it happens! Wish we would have done that.
