Ghetto - Fab

It truly is ghetto fabulous here. Children in the driveways screaming til 2:00 in the morning, even on school nights. I worry about my safety, although the police are here often enough to probably keep it in check. Apparently drugs dealing is an acceptable means for making rent. Parking is somewhat of a nightmare (that's average for most complexes though.) Even through all of that my biggest complaint is the THIN walls, you can hear your neighbors most intimate of conversations... or them killing each other.
When they take you to the model apartment... which has been nicely taken care of. The carpet is fluffy the vinyl is in good shape the paint job has been well done. Keep in mind that your apartment will look like it's had the hell beat out of it. I've had maintenence come out to fix things... and it's definitely a band-aid solution rather than a cure 4 times out of 5.
The rent is inexpensive.. that should have been a warning sound. Pay a little extra and check for thicker walls and check with the local PD.
