Read my experience and decide for yourself...

Finding that my new lease was going to increase by $60 is the straw that broke the camel's back. I cannot wait to get out of here. My roommate and I are fed up! I think it is a disservice to the tenents to have the management change so many times in such a short span of time. I think we are on the 4th or 5th management team in 2 years'

This place was great when I first moved in, but repeated messages to the office have not been returned. We have an ant infestation in our building - not just our apartment - no matter how squeaky clean it is. Everyone ignores the assigned parking spaces and when my grandparents try to park in the handicapped spot, it is always occupied and they have to walk up hills or two streets over to get to my apt. When I finally got a hold of someone in the office, they simply said they couldn't do anything about it. Why have it marked then'

We get notices saying some 'person' is putting up random notices about changes in the complex that was unauthorized and to ignore any notice not on letterhead or signed. They were working with Renton police, then the next 5 notices are not on letterhead or signed - oh, but those were legitimate.

I have seen Renton police here several times over the past few weeks (maybe 3-4 times a week) and the fire department almost as much!

They are painting the apartments, but no notice was given to the residents and all of a sudden you look out your deck and there is a man standing there. That was a little scary! Also, managers just walking into your apartment without notice. They need to get their records straight.

Some kids went into the cabana and tore apart the exercise equipment, so now in order to use any of the amenities, everyone has to pay a fee to get a new key. Each person in the apartment has to pay. That is ridiculous, why not go after the kids or their parents instead of punishing everyone else. Not like the exercise equipment or spa even worked more than a couple months of the year. I hope they are using that money to replace the equipment - I don't know b/c I refuse to pay it. It was part of the package when I moved in.

There are always really scary people walking up and down the streets at night, and we don't even know who the patrol service is anymore - we called the number we were given last and they said they haven't worked this site for a couple months.

Save yourself the trouble - find another place. I love the townhome, but it isn't worth living in the community.
