Never get into this trap

IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE, BETTER TO THINK IT AGAIN BEFORE YOU MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT.

The management are very p'or-- I have never seen such management before.

If you decide to move in, you'd better prepare for some troubles later.

As shown in the previous review, they have too much 'hidden' stuff which you will have to pay.

So, be extremely careful.

Brandy has left.

Now the apartment has its 4th manager in about half a year.

And there is even 1 month (Apr.

2005) without a manager! With such frequent changing of managers, You can image what the service could be.

It seems Crown property has very "b'd" reputation because all the managers fired the Property not the reverse.

When I moved in, there was a cleave on the wall.

When I left, it was still there though I had issued them many notices asking for repair.

-- That's the service.

The apartment is very old (probably more than 30 years), so the insulation is rather poor.

Noise is a big issue.

Don't be surprised if you hear snore of your next door neighbor at night.

Most of the building are facing either McMurray or Jadwin Street, both of which are busy in traffic.

If these mean nothing for you, OK, accross the street is a fire station.

So enjoy the alarms at night.

(But maybe it is good in some sense, for example, you can enjoy the music of you next door neighbor for free.)

Don't be surprised if your utility bill is more than $200 each month.

-- the insulation of the old building.

Your utility bill will also show that you are paying for water which is usually paid by the Property.

In such old building, if you have kids or old persons, they'd better be careful-- something may be not so stable.

The apartment is claimed to has > 1000 sq ft.

However, you will find a big area is occupied by a big iron furnace.

Note, the concrete base and the iron furnace with sharp edge are very dangerous for your kids or handcapped persons if they fall.

With the frequently manager changing, your oral agreement with the manager is easy to be denied by the next manager or the property.

So you'd better record all your conversation with Crown staff.

Otherwise, be prepared for lawsuits or pay for the price.
