Boulder Creek

I lived at Boulder Creek from April-October of 2002. The apartment was beautiful, but I wouldn't live there again if I could do it over. I didn't have any noise problems, but I was in a top floor two bedroom. The parking was not an issue for me either but I can definitely see how it could be in other areas of the complex. The kitched sucked! We only had one drawer in the entire kitchen and not enough storage. We were also lied to about a lot of things during pre move in negotiations. They offered in writing to pay for our cable TV and cable modem for the duration of our lease, but we got stuck with paying for the modem after the first four months. We were also told that water and garbage were included, but we got a back log of water bills towards the end. I went in to the office and complained and they agreed to take care of the water bill. My rent also increased by about $100 on the day I went to sign my lease. The garbage thing was a nightmare and open garbage bags were always strewn all over place on pick up day. There also isn't anywhere available to wash your car which to me was pretty inconvenient as I don't wash my car public car washes/sand blasing machines. The events at the club house were nice. Mail pick up can be a hassle right after work as well. Overall, for the price you pay for the place, I wouldn't live there again. If the rent was SIGNIFICANTLY less, I might consider it. I only lasted six months...
