It is really too bad that people are giving bad reviews on Boulder Creek. My husband and I moved in in February and we fell in love with it. The amenities are great-- a very stylishly decorated and spacious clubhouse which can be reserved, an indoor racquetball court, a tanning bed, a large workout room equiped with showers and tv's for those exercising. It also includes a big tv room with a big screen, flat panel television, a dvd player & vcr. There is a kitchen in the clubhouse as well to use at any parties, not to mention a computer room with internet access, a conference room to be reserved for business meetings, and an outdoor pool and hot tub.
Those that said (in other reviews) that Boulder Creek is not worth the money was probably not taking full advantage of it's amenities. They have also lowered their prices quite a bit due to the economy.
We absolutely love it. The office staff have catered to our needs and have been very kind to us.
We also LOVE the atmosphere. We lived in the heart of downtown seattle before and we got tired of the noise, traffic, and filth everywhere. At Boulder Creek it is so quiet that you can hear the birds outside and frogs at night. The view is breathtaking as well since they have included a wildlife buffer area instead of developing it into more apartments. The mountains are beautiful and the area is very clean.
We also prefer it because its pet-friendly. Our dog loves the woods and places to play.
I think it's obvious that we are definately pleased with our experience so far at Boulder Creek. We would recommend it to anyone with an active lifestyle or who is seeking balance in their life. It is an atmosphere that encourages you to get in shape--physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially.
The only dissapointment I have is that I wish the upper part of the clubhouse was open later than 10pm on the weekends or during the summer. It is a very cool place and we wish it would stay open longer.
Other than that, no complaints!
