I was trying to get a hold of a person who was being evicted from these apartments. The lady that called our church was desperate and we had intended to help out with funds to help her and her family stay in their apartment for another month until able to find more affordable housing.

This lady had given me a phone number that had been disconnected but I knew her name and unit number and tried to get the office to let her know that I was trying to reach her. The office refused to help. I understand not being willing to release personal information but the young woman at the office refused to even consider knocking on the apartment door or leaving a note for the renter to tell them members of our church had stopped by.

This was unbelievable to me. In every other apartment I've been to, I've found the management helpful and receptive to getting their renters aid. After all, it benefits them too, we give them money!

I've never seen such a heartless response. I begged the young woman to consider how she would feel if she were being evicted and her phone was disconnected and she needed help. I only got the cold shoulder.
