Im not only the manager but I lived here for two years. When I moved in in early 2001 the building in my opinion was a crack house with a ton of undesirable tenants living inside the walls. It was my job as the new onsite manager to give advice on how to turn around the building. From the tenants to the landscaping to the rodent problem outside. It is a very large building and there have been positive changes over the years. There has not been a rat spotted outside the building or in the surrounding area since I removed all of the Junipers around the building and re-landscaped. There was a rodent problem. It was identified and corrected. As far as the construction goes there are great buildings going up all around Bay Ridge Court. A large new grocery market is now just a two blocks away. Just north on 8th so its a flat walk too:) This grocery is located in a brand new 22 story building. Progress Brings Convince. This building offers a lot of things to a lot of people. Oak Floors. 8 feet ceilings. Two blocks from the tallest building in Seattle.. Come on guys its called urban living. I have been managing this building for almost 7 years and it keeps getting nicer. This spring the exterior is getting painted. The parking lot repaved and new carpets in all of the halls. It Takes a long time to rejuvenate a building that takes up half a city block. Come and judge for yourself. I will never lie about and questions you may like to ask me.

When the manager is the only one to give this building a positive review - it should set off alarm bells but especially when he flat out lies. Christopher is the manager. He manages another building and he sporatically shows up in his truck for like 1/2 an hour every other day - maybe more frequently when there is a vacant unit to clean up. There is no "on-site" management. He is pleasant but will obviously will lie through his teeth just to pacify you. He is usually impossible to get a hold of via phone. Judge for yourself when you call and try to get a showing. Mice and Rats are a real problem at this building there is a reason there is no pet deposit for cats - I lived here when I was going to Seattle U, and it was convenient for that but not much else. It is Centrally Located but with the ambulances, freeway noise and the freaks that frequent the next door food bank it is not worth it. There is a large construction site next door adding to the high level of noise. After it is done - I am sure that will give them justification to hike up rents.
