When you see a listing for this place on craigslist you should note that cats are allowed with no deposit. This is because there is a mice problem in this building. the construction next door helped to increase that. The Building is centrally located but it is right next to Harborview and there are ambulances passing by 24/7. The manager mentions that there is a Grocery store down the street (M Street Market) It is over-priced. There is a Food Bank at the church across the street and that attracts the homeless and the crazies. One time I came across a homeless couple doing the Nasty outside the manager's office. The Manager is pleasant but not on site and difficult to get a hold of. Tenants keep pretty much to themselves and are pretty nice except for the Crazy Indian Lady who feeds the pigeons massive quantities of bread and rice - She and a couple of other tenants make you wonder if this place takes Section 8 vouchers. The Building also doesn't have recycling - the Manager told me it was because of homeless going through it. I never felt unsafe there, but I think you should be on your guard coming and going. I moved because I change jobs, but I don't know if I would kept staying there.
