Seriously reconsider moving into this building...MANY reasons why. - After spending a year in this building I regret having to write such a negative review. Overall, the building itself is quite charming and in a great location. Sadly, this building (and several others run by Glacier) are going through renovations and are being supported by a staff that is either inexperienced, overworked or just incompetent. Its probably just a combination of all ...Full review of Highland Crest Apartments

Had its time. - I lived at the Summit for quite some time. I loved my time there. I had an amazing view of Lake Union that was great to wake up to each day. Unfortunately the price for rent went up at least 10% each year... while the carpet, kitchen, etc kept getting older. It started out fantastic... and I miss it a bit now, but not worth the price. Living close to Downtown is great. But when ...Full review of Summit Apartments

Terrible Management, Old Building w/ thin walls - I was tempted into signing a lease by the view. The view is incredible. But that is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. When we first moved in, we soon found out that our next door neighbors were drug dealers. They would wiz out on coke until 5am on Monday and Tuesday nights. Random people would always come down our hallway looking for the right apartment at 3am to ...Full review of Shangri La Apartments

area unsafe, old building (moldy and smelly) and worst management - yes, this is south park (the least safe place I have come to know in the Seattle area). you drive by Cloverdale and you will see that every few blocks you will be alerted by a sign in bold colors that you are in South Park. Felt unsafe living there -- worse, the manager Linda is very crude lady -- bad attitude, rude and dishonest. she will advertise one thing and charge you another. ...Full review of Park South

The good, the bad, the ugly - Despite this place being expensive (the rent is $995 $70 comcast $8 garbage $20 - $40 water $60 - $80 electricity) it was charming. The location is amazing and I can see Elliot Bay from the kitchen. The apartment is rather large even having a "den" area. The bay windows are really beautiful. That's where the good ends. The laundry room is DISGUSTING and only has two washers ...Full review of Bradbury

Not a good choice - I lived in this building in a basement studio for a few months while trying to find a new place, and I worked in the building for another year caregiving for a tenant. The building is absolutely NOT worth the rent. It's a very old apartment building, which is really quite cool to look at. The floors are hardwood and the bathrooms are pretty decently sized. There the good parts end. ...Full review of Quinault Apartments

Do not live at Spring Lake - I lived there for almost 2 years and it turned into a horrible place to live. The apartment quality itself is horrible. 20 year old appliances, cupboard doors that don't line up, bad installation of blinds and just cheap everything. Horrible, Manager will cheat you out of your deposit - Be careful. Living here wasn't a great experience at all. Just a little not, if you dont LIST every little thing, the manager will cheat you out of your deposit. When I moved in NOTHING at all was clean, there were holes in the wall, the windows didn't work and were all broken in need of being fixed. The first few nights I was literally freezing my ass off.
