A current resident

I am a current resident and so have not dealt with the moving out aspect yet, but living here has been a nice experience. The other people in the building seem nice, but everyone seems to move out at the end of their first lease (I'm moving at the end of my 1 year lease). This place is good for people with pets because there is an off leash area less than a block away and nice places to walk at all times of the day or night. Also, I love my balcony and the way that the apartment is layed out. An odd thing to dislike but the garbage/recycling area is terribly disgusting (worse than anywhere else I've ever lived) and usually over crowded or overflowing with stuff so you have to leave your bags on the ground. Some of the lower level office staff and the maintenance people are great, but the upper level people are inconsistent, rude, completely disorganized, and basically don't get the stuff you need done. Oh, also, it turns out this is really important: there are no big grocery stores or drug stores anywhere nearby, you have to drive at least a few miles to get to the nearest store in Queen Anne.
